    Registers S18 & S15 can have various values as they are reserved
    by the modem.

    The modem initialisation string I use in both RA and DBridge is:-

      ATM1X1Q0V1H0S0=0|

    the modem busy string is:-

      ATM0H1|

    the modem autoanswer string is:-

      ATA|


    I use X1 in the initialisation string because any higher setting
    gives problems with my exchange which is one of the old type.
